  1. So sorry to hear that Denise had passed away. Heard not long ago that she was sick. Then asked how she was doing and she was gone. With what is going on in this world I don’t get out much but wanted the family to know that our hearts go out to each of you. As said before she is now with her beloved but her memory will live on in each of you.

  2. I worked with Denise in the Topeka Public Schools Business Office. She spoke often of her kids and grandkids and shared some great stories about all of you. I found myself thinking about her just last week. I will remember her beautiful smile. May your memories comfort you in the days ahead.

  3. Marilyn and your family, we were so sorry to read of your loss. Although I did not know her very well I loved her smile and laughter. May memories give you smiles and laughter amidst the tears. You are in our thought and prayers for peace and comfort.

  4. Marilyn and family. I was so sorry to hear of your sister passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. I always enjoyed being around her the few times I had the opportunity. She was full of fun and laughter just like you.

  5. Geoff and Sherri, I worked with your mom at BC/BS years ago. Had just ran into her at the store about a year ago and we stood and talked for over an hour catching up. We had so many laughs together. When I think of your mom I remember how when we went to lunch she would put a mound of salt on the plate and dip her fries into it. She was so fun. Such a sweet person gone too soon. Nothing on earth and separate you. Not time, not space, not even death.

  6. Dear Marilyn,
I’m so sorry to hear of Denise’s passing. May she rest in peace. Many prayers and hugs for you.

  7. Heather and family,

I am truly saddened for your loss and I’m keeping you all in my prayers and my thoughts.

Denise had a huge place in my mother’s life and I still remember all the nights you babysat for Mandi and I, Heather.

I hope that God holds you all in the palm of his hand in this trying time.

  8. Mrs. Richards was a special lady who dedicated herself as a substitute paraprofessional and office professional for Topeka Public Schools. She had such a gentle spirit and a willingness to help wherever it was needed. Thank you for sharing her with Topeka Public Schools. Over the last year she supported members in the business office who could not say enough about how wonderful she was to work with. On behalf of Topeka Public Schools, our condolences are extended and we want you to know, her impact on the staff she worked with remains. Mrs. Richards will be dearly missed.
