Martha (Dianne) Manville, age 62, passed away at her home in Topeka, KS on Monday, February 17. Dianne was born on October 20, 1957 in Independence, Missouri to William and Betty (Sager) Law. In July 1970, following her father’s passing, the family moved to Saint Joseph, Missouri where she graduated from Central High School. Dianne received her Bachelor’s from Missouri Western State College prior to pursuing a Master of Business Administration from the University of Kansas. She then devoted her life to owning, managing, developing, and rehabilitating low to moderate income housing across Missouri and Kansas.
Dianne truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; reading, cooking, attending church, and dearly enjoyed spending time with her brother, son, and nieces. She was also an enthusiastic New Orleans Saints and LSU Tiger fan.
Dianne is survived by her son, Nathan Manville and wife, Meredith, Seattle, WA; brother, Byron Law and wife, Cindy, Kansas City, MO; aunt: Judy Cummings and husband, Richard, Kansas City, MO; uncle: Robert Steinhauser, Kansas City, MO; nieces: Amanda Law and Meagan Law, Kansas City, MO; and numerous cousins.
A memorial service will be held at a future date for family, friends, and others whose lives Dianne touched to reminisce, grieve, and celebrate her life.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to the St. Joseph Youth Hockey Association.
