Anthony “Tony” Joseph Fox

Anthony “Tony” Joseph Fox, of Topeka passed away March 11, 2020.  He was born

January 25, 1957 in Topeka, KS to Frank L. Fox and Rae Jeanine (Drake) Fox. 

Tony was a long time employee of Walmart.  He was an avid model railroad enthusiast

and a member of the Topeka Model Railroad club, currently as Secretary and past

President. He loved volunteering for the Children’s Miracle Network, where he was a

master BBQ griller.  For many years he played Santa during Christmas time and was

always clowning around building balloon animals. Tony did not know a stranger, he

was a friend to all and always had a story to tell.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Greg Fox in January 2020.

 Survivors include two sister Anna (Dave) Istas and Ruth Fox.

Memorial Services will be at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to The Children’s Miracle Network.

  1. So sorry to hear of Tony’s passing! I have many fond memories of him at the skating rink and later running into him at Walmart. Thoughts and prayers to all who survive.

    I am so sorry for the loss of Tony. He always had a smile and a kind word for everyone. You have lost two wonderful men in a short time. My prayers and thoughts are with you.

  5. So sorry to hear about Tony. He and I worked together for a lot of years at Wal*mart. He was a good guy, and will be missed by a lot of people.

  7. I am so very sorry for the loss you are feeling. Tony was a good friend and always treated people with love and kindness. I don’t think I ever saw him even a little bit upset. He will be missed by many!

  8. What a great guy Tony was. We lived neighbors to them for about 10 years when I children were small. My heart goes out to Anna & Ruth at this sad time.
