  1. Dear Myrna and Jan,
I’m so sorry to hear about the loss of Jerry. He was a wonderful husband, father and person. He was and will always be in the hearts of everyone who knew him. My thoughts and prayers are with both of you during this difficult time. To my dad, Gene Stidham, I know you will always cherish the wonderful memories of your brother Jerry especially the vacations you all took together or whether you two were just reminiscing over the phone. The last time I saw uncle Jerry is when he and Myrna came to my house in Las Vegas a few years ago for my dad’s 80th birthday. He had such a great time and I remember his kindness, his smile and most of all his laughter! Jerry will truly be missed and I know he is in a much better place now. We love you uncle Jerry and rest in peace.

  2. Sincere sympathy is extended to our former co-worker, Myrna, and the rest of Jerry’s family upon learning of his recent passing. He was always cordial and outgoing at any of the Security Benefit functions he attended the years Myrna was working. Thoughts and prayers are with you all.

  5. Thank you so much for all your amazing condolences. Myrna and I are doing OK I think, just so grateful that he is now without pain. As many of you mentioned, my father was a wonderful conversationalist and while our “views” often differed tremendously we always respected each other’s opinions. I learned so much from him. He had me doing simple math problems at bedtime instead of reading me a book. He got me a subscription to Scientific American when I was 12 (I needed a dictionary to go with it). At my slumber parties he would steal the show by paying a nickle or a dime to whoever could correctly spell certain words! He always made me think and he read and knew everything. I am going to miss our conversations so very much – there is nobody like him to talk to. and nobody as supportive of me as him. He was my best playmate. I love you Daddy.

  6. I got to know Jerry when I was a realtor at Kirk and Cobb! He was always so helpful! Then he was a customer when I worked at Walgreen’s. A very kind and gentle spirit of a man. My deepest sympathy.

  7. Myrna,
