Loretta Louise Mulvihill 82, died Tuesday February 26th, 2019 at Midland Hospice House of Topeka KS, with her family by her side. She was one of 5 children born to William and Jessie Allen on March 28, 1936. She worked for Stormont Vail Linen Services and after 30 plus years retired in 1999. She was married to Ray Vines from March 26, 1954-1972. They were blessed with 5 children. On November 16, 1974 she married Robert Mulvihill and gained the love of 4 more children. Denny (Ester) Vines, Diana (Chuck) Hurd, Gary (Verla) Vines, Brad Vines, Donnie (Lisa) Vines, Debbie (Mike) Simon, Scott Mulvihill, Linda Hubert, and Bryon Mulvihill. She not only was a loving mother and wife but, was blessed with 27 Grandchildren, 57 Great Grandchildren, and 4 Great Great Grandchildren. She had a passion for playing Bingo, enjoyed a good auction bidding war, and would always be on the hunt for a good garage sale. She loved Thanksgiving and Christmas and would always have her large family together for the holidays. Cooking for her family was a must and you would often find her making Sunday breakfast in the kitchen for all her many family members. She will be fondly remembered for her quick wit and jokes. She also had an immense love for her four-legged companions, and they would commonly be found on the go with her. She is preceded in death by all her siblings, her husband Robert Mulvihill, son Bryon Mulvihill, daughter Debbie Simon, and son Gary Vines. Graveside services will be held Sat. March 30th, 2019 at Memorial Park at 11 AM. A celebration of life will immediately follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Midland Hospice House or Helping Hands Humane Society.
