4 “Marilyn Louise Johnson

  1. Marilyn and I both graduated from Roosevelt High School in Emporia in the late l950’s, and I attended her wedding to Chuck Laird. She and I have stayed in touch all these years, which shows how highly I thought of her, and how much I will miss her. She loved her family, she enjoyed her life weaving and doing crafts and taking care of animals with Ken, and bravely faced their health problems. Tears in my eyes today that my sweet friend in Kansas is gone.

  2. Marilyn was a special friend; we made many memories while working at Newman’s Department Store. I’m saddened to learn of her death. Thank you to Ralph for letting me know. Condolences to all of you.
